An interesting series of books, each offering covers a specific vehicle, and this one covers the M-1 during recent engagements abroad. Very well illustrated, this offering lets you see just how our tax dollars bought the best tank there is, and what it can do. This volume is one worth owning.
The photos were not as rare as I thought they would be, nor were they mainly wartime/combat related. Many were photos taken during testing/evaluation or training, but the book is well written, well made, and good for modelers.
Excellent book. Usually this series is mostly photos and little content. M1 Abrams Tank has maybe the best summary of the development history of the M1 up to 2015. A must get for any tank enthusiast. A nice selection of photos as well.
Great book, great pics, great history lesson on the Abrams. As a former 19Kilo on the origial XM1 and later the M1A1, it was a great trip down memory lane, and I even learned a few things that I never knew about the Abrams. Stay on the Tank!
Excellent technical book on the M1A1 and all other versions of this tank. I enjoyed the life of the tank from the beginning and each of the modifications. Made me appreciate the capability of the tank during Desert Storm.
As a modern armor model builder I am always on the lookout for good reference material. Mr. Green's book covers the M1 from the prototype 105mm version all the way to the latest SEP version. For the price it's hard to beat.

Lots of pictures. Must have for tanknuts. I really liked it. Great details. Tells the whole story in pictures. Love it.
